Prof. Zhang held 1 Humanities and Social Science Project of Ministry of Education of the P.R.C., and 2 Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project, as well as 1 Crossing Research Project. Prof. Zhang has published two monographs and one professional textbook, and more than 20 academic papers in professional journals such as Language Science, Chinese Linguistics, Research in Ancient Chinese Language, Journal of Xinjiang University (Natural Science Edition), and Overseas Chinese Education among which 8 papers are from CSSCI journals.
